Lockdown Woes

It’s lockdown againAnd I’m dead insidePlant me some of those good old laughsA glass of whiskeyAnd a tale you know is lieBut I hear it againFor I’d take thatA laugh, a drink. A smoke and us all merryI’d rather chill and make mistakesAnd do it all again, than stare at a blank wallAnd see myself staring at meAgain.

Horror Blocked

Horror stories are sought for,far and wide,How naive of us humans, for the worst nightmare is in our minds.

What better to rattle the cage,as we move around our daily maze, for you to write a script for me,is to bet against me when you know who’s already winning.

Icarus knew long before, all our abilities are double ended swords.Imagination was a gift when we started,Only to dig our own grave after lift-off.

It is a monster that I fear,But my monster has no form,They’d say I’m imagining,O! Imagination my monster.

Shackles of reality,O! They go mad at me,O! They sing their song at me.

Floating specks of dust

The final truth, is that none of it matters,For we’re sons and daughters of specks of dust,In a vast universeSpending very little timeOur impact is within and for our collective intelligence to rememberFor until this world survives.

The Lord of Space, did surviveHe cannot be foughtAnd he cannot be beat!He will always be the final truthThe final truth.

It is our duty, to save this world! For this world belongs to us tooThe world is for the world to seeFeed, not feed upon; cultivate the spirit of the people of our landFeed, not feed upon; cultivate the spiritFor we are the people of the earthAnd we have a duty to this planetYeahSo be good citizens .

Bugs in the system

I’ve met stupids far and great,Friends for life and enemies for moments,The silent won’t talk,The I won’t let you stop talking,The. Listen to me first. Idiots. And then there’s you.

A million years. A deep penance.None would have made me guess. The combination of atomsTo which god is responsible for.( if not that, what is he doing up there? )Would copy me and send you first!

Who do I call a cheater? And what did you cheat? You’re just as cool as me.As dumb. As bak-bak and as pagal. Not he himself can make for an eternityOr a moment, stop talking to you babe.

Will we meet! Well for onceNeither of us have an answer. But is this the end of us?Ha! We’re the bugs in the systemEven God can’t debug…

Stare

On a silent night besides the ocean,And I saw you standing alone and stare into the darkness.Dreaming of swimming with the mermaids and nibbling fishesOf asking questions unasked, never meant to be asked..And I stood. Staring. Never knew what to do.All I knew was no sorrow. No sorrow bestow upon this beauty. For no other curse could lay on you. To sadden the heartOf such a beautiful lady far from home. Finding a place in a crowd.Never known of the unknown. Of the undoable. And all I do is stare. And as the night sung along of the tale, the symphony. They never knew what it was. What the wind sung. What the world whispered. But they moved along. Walking. As the world asked them to.Silent as the fish could speak to the crowd. They walked on.To never utter to the crowd. What was in their hearts.

Final Dawn

As the final dawn approachesOf forgotten laughter and untold lutesThe corridors fill with the emptinessOf not present and not agains. For never again is a cake cutA photo taken, a prank done rightThe pieces go missing as,The chessboard remainsI shout and I shout and I drown,in the silence around me…

The Trail

Blood drops as i walk, leave behindwith twisted, torn, scraps of paper soaking in the red, fairies and god mothers and gods themselves failed, there stuck i am at and no choices to make.Real and sad the music goes on,queer and weird and fuzzy. But in there.Random i speak, My words don’t aim,but my heart is free and decisions are thick.

Breeze

Another season has yet gone by,And the sun still rises everyday,Light,it seeps through the holes in my roof,Can’t stop myself from thinking,of those moments, those times,Changed as it were, the liquid stands frozen,In a Ice cave, I stand in the middle.Awaiting, not for it, them or her,But time, time to tell me what it is.What’s mine and what’s my dream alone. And what’s not to like, for me to have go wrong. And it seems the house I live in,the cave deep inside, stands broken, shattered without an entrance and i dunno why,The wind knows it’s just ice on the door.So come in without a blink, and i’m still waiting, for the breeze to knock, enter and sweep me away,The breeze that never grew old, even as the air around me grew stale and stinked.Welcome my friend, the wind, the breeeze, that kept me alive every now and then, even when i was to suffocate, to die,It’d play around to enter, only when it’s time.Come ol’ friend and enter this caves,Those which were yours all along,Those that you played around with,Those that echoed each whistle, each tune. For it’s not forgotten. Those melodies, but it’s been some time since those were played here,The still air had nothin to play,Only more coldness to pass more and more.Let me follow you the way you entered,Follow you to find the forgotten path,Where I knew I entered, but never exited,And let me be free again. The breeze is still in my dreams,Still my mind hoping it’d enter this moment, and i’m swept back into this world,I’m waiting.

Respect

Show me some respect. Why can’t you show me some respect?

I know I’m a fool,a key dongling tool, saddened by your tearsand hardened by your fears.

I loved all those ties,I knew they weren’t lies.I sucked it all upand I never knew why.

I fear some fateand I hate all those dates,I never knew whyI had all those hates!

And into the spaceI jumped whole hearted,I sacred all those darted,a thousand screams and I parted,

I knew someone died,I knew something cried, hate never wanted another pride.

Who knew I was one,I loved to have fun,I had never cried under the sun.

Shoes flied in the air, rockets hit us so unfair, all there was left was sound to blair!

And yet I was blindwithout a reason I wasn’t so fine, sickened and it rained, all I knew is it pained.

The secret that everyone knows

I can never write when i want it. But my hands can write when my heart tells me.My heart wrote this, what started as a facebook status message!

The wind blows to my ear a secret,a secret that everyone knows.Forgotten in the years that have passed, but repeated in the silent night, it glows. It glows and it is that which helps the sun glowso bright, so gay, so yellow and a ray.A ray of sunshine that passes into our mind, into our soul and yet in all its glory lay.In all its glory lay the silent soul still as him,Still as him, the scarecrow who knows the lil secret.

Blown into the wind and as wide as water so blue,so blue so clear transparent in thought were the words.Words which had power, words which meant big brain, the size of the eagle’s egg, that make them call you Nerd. And yet the sand knows it, The stone in the rain, the dust in the air and my small blood cells. They all know the secret, like the back of their hands, hands that cling to every stone, that search the sand, the sand in hope of finding, the forgotten commands.

Memories at Sixteen

People might sayBeing sixteen, which is very very youngwe don’t have much to look back to.

Oh how wrong are they,I ask weren’t they young once?Don’t tell me howdifferent it was that once.

I got bored n senti one dayand twirled up my past.Wondering and wishingwhy longer it didn’t last.

Memories are many andare of different kindsome to cherishand others left of time.

I remember of all my ol’ friendsto whom daily through my heart I send,How much i miss you guysHow i wish you were here. But wherever you are, never mindto my heart you’ll always be near.

Never has the distance or anything elsecrept past into our friendship. They, i guess can beshortened by a single road trip!

I’ve a lot to tell about you to alland a lot to talk to you all,but the words i knowand the mind i have is just too short.

Thoughts are there of amillion kind in my mind.but to put it in a paper,it’s hard I find.

Fate as they call itmay pull us into 4 corners.but who said I believed in fate,I want to burn it in a burner.

For if someone was to readthe book of fate of mine,I’m sure he’d say the one who wroteit sucked, “Get out of the line”.

I open my mail all possible timesto check for your mail.I know you’d be busy but I’d wishyou’d send atleast a snail mail!

The times you’d pop upin my messenger,I’d leave the world if I have tolike a last minute passenger.

But when I sit and with youguys and I chat.my mind of all timesgoes blank, oh rats!

Anyway I’m sure to keepthis part of my memoriesof these seeds, in my mindi’ll grow a tree.

Friends are of a hundred kind andthe way I describe they are above all.And with each of them withmy heart i’ll never fall.

But the worst part of having agood memory is that they are over.Far away and long ago and it stillstays alive somewhere in the mind’s lower!

The fog!

Everything is not what it seems to be as usual,i just need two words to my heart as fuel.I never mind on leading my heart where ever it goes, but i never know which is the right right to take, please show.I lay in bed in fear of exams and tensed on what to write.Friends words whatever they may be, remove my fright. The phone starts showing the battery down

I knew i never can depend on this clown.Amazing i can listen to some dead man’s music while i type this, and yet i do not disturb anyone, oh fish. Eh?Things are always like in a fog,its up to you to try and see beyond.

Dream

For starters this is a poem I wrote yesterday cause someone uttered the words sweet dreams to me and I remembered my sleep of day before yesterday!(That wasn’t confusing was it?)

DreamsDreams a word that everyone’s heard,it ain’t the same to me.In my sleep in the dark dark night, from my mind I try to flee.

When my eyes are open and my senses alive,it feels like all is normal. That’s the time when my body and soullisten to my mind and I tell,

the strangest tales of the far far land, take over my soul when my eyes are closed.Who knew i’d live to tell a tale of whatI do not remember and my brain cells are toast.

Never did I imagine when my senses were aliveof the stories I lived when my eye lids were shut.To awake and recover to my normal world is a task,do not ask what I forgot, I for forever them I cut.

Its like hell with some mix music of every genreplayed at once without mercy.I live a life with a piece of everyone added andbeaten in my mind left for me there to see.

Tried again without any hope to decipher, the message in my dream and I lose hope. For what if it was a message from almighty himself, the rope of fine line he drew jus’ broke!

All I wish is some peace in my mind when I sleep,as much as peace I get under the sun.Oh sun, with the moon on your side, clear the darknessin my mind when darkness surrounds me outside,I am no Atilia the Hun!

Patriot Forever

I wrote this last year when I was um… high on India!

People tell me that my country is nowhere. And it ain’t getting anywhere. Are you being ignorant or simply blind,It Burns my blood and raises my painfor I never heard a lie so plain.

living in a country anywhere else you wouldn’t find.In fifty years it rose from dreaded fall.It might be hurt but it never crawls.

Wounded we were left there to rot, with no help emerged for a fog a small fog.Never did it ask them to repair the damage they did.But extended a hand in peace before every other kid.

As modern as any other yet traditional in their ways.Competing in a never ending race. The people are too many though and a country so small. We see our kinda people behind anything that’s tall.

And food so lovely that waters your mouth, which is completely different from north to south.Varied by culture and divided by language. It never stopped us from uniting despite the rage.

A thousand different ways will this country be described, all the truth as clear as in a child.I love my country I really do.For a country so unique you will never find, true.

Struggle

Let’s talk today aboutStruggle, the wordAttributed in hindsightBut seldom in the now.

All tell you that’s the pathBy going through painWe make ourselvesWe grow and be better

But how I wonderWhen we’ve also been toldNever to do wrongNever get hurt.

Calculate all the positionsLearn to think aheadAnd you’re stepping onGenerational wealthThat it’s easy to forget

Where’s the struggleWe ask, so casually.Like a forgotten cloudyAfternoon in summer

Where’s the struggleWe ask, forgetting thatI’ve probably completed mineBut to reach where I amIs another man’s struggle.

And yet when we look backWe see the beads of sweatThe smell that washing machineCan remove from our clothesBut not our memories

We didn’t know it when itHappened in the nowBut we do know itWhen we see it in our pasts

The struggle isn’t necessaryTo grow us.To make us.We should just make sureNo one is struggling becauseOfYou.
